Hearts & Minds Inc. is located in the city of Valley Center, the northern section of San Diego County.

Our house will accommodate Four (4) residents from the age of 18 to 59 with developmental disabilities as defined in the State of California, Welfare and Institutions (W&I) Code 4512 (a).

The location of this home allows the residents access to various community integration opportunities within a few minutes drive. This will provide the right atmosphere to train and accommodate the residents and act as a safe springboard to community training and integration.

The Four (4) bedroom and Two (2) bath home sits on Three (3) Acres of land and is licensed to meet Community Care Licensing, fire code, all Title 22 and 17 regulations.

Each resident will have their own bedroom with private space for their belongings. Residenwill share a bathroom with others and have access to the living room, dining room, kitchen, front patio, garden, and animals.

This community provides extensive recreational, education and leisure activity opportunities for our prospective residents. We will use local resources such as markets, banks, parks (Canyon Preserve), libraries (Valley Center Branch Library), churches, gyms, movie theaters, restaurants and other recreational facilities as a training ground. Local doctors, dentists, therapists and a hospital are available to serve our residents needs.
